Studio Nabena was first consulted at the beginning of the second quater of 2020 for this rear yard landscape project and was only hired in the second quater of 2021. We created three tiers to break the difference experiences using concrete, batu (red balau) wood, asto turf and the site topography to inform the design. The program includes a portable firepit and seats at tier one, a bar counter, BBQ grill, floating bench and basketball hoop at tier two and dining area at tier three. As with most of our projects we worked with the contractor midway into the creative process to ensure the budget matches the design.
